Everyone is welcome here! Whether you are exploring faith for the first time, returning to church, or looking for a new community, you have a place at The Healing Word.

For Our Congregation & Members

Primary Communication: We use a private text group chat to stay connected with our congregation. This is our main mode of communication for updates, prayer requests, and day-to-day fellowship.

Private Facebook Group*: All are invited to join our private Facebook group. This is our digital home for sharing prayer requests, celebrating joys, and where we host our Sunday service live stream for those who are unable to join us in person.

*PLEASE NOTE: You must be Facebook friends with either Pastor Mary Ann or Associate Pastor Karen to join the private group

Weekly Gatherings at the church:
- Sunday Service: 10:30 AM (Click here for live streaming)
- Wednesday Bible Study: 6:00 PM
- Children's Ministry: Available during the Sunday service.

For the Community (Our Outreach)

Monthly On-Site Events
- 2nd Sunday of the Month: Pot Blessing
- 4th Sunday of the Month: Ministry Training

Public Facebook Group: We are building our public online community for event announcements, community engagement, and reaching new friends in Amador.
YouTube Channel: We'll be adding more-current sermons as part of our ongoing effort to make the word of Christ accessible to all.

Off-Site Outreach & Mission: We are active in our community beyond our building:
- 1:1 Jail Ministry
- Partnered Outreach: We are proud partners with Open Hands Open Hearts, working together to serve our unhoused community.

Community Group Gatherings:
- Sewing Group
- Quilting Group
- Knitting Group
- T.O.P.S. (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) - Every Friday at 9:30am

If you are interested in serving on the Prayer Team, helping with Outreach, or other ministries, please get in touch directly with Pastor Mary Ann and Associate Pastor Karen. They are the heart of our ministry and would love to connect with you.
